Cureuphoria re-launch: a new beginning.

new cureuphoria

After a lot of time and a lot of work, I am glad (and proud) to publish a new version of Cureuphoria.

Originally launched in August 2008, Cureuphoria was developed as a personal blog about The Cure. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to dedicate any of my time to keep it alive and going, but the will to improve it and to keep it up to date never left. I knew it was just a matter of time before I would put my hands on it again and give it the shape I wanted to.

Today Cureuphoria is re-launched as a full website with a lot of features and functionalities and it is wrapped up in an unique desgin.

With all the great band sites out there, I always thought that the Cure community missed and deserved a proper interactive website that was professsionally designed and developed. So, I gave it a chance to create one myself.

In truth, the project was initially meant to be used primarily as a testing ground to sharpen up some web design tools (mainly the use of WordPress as a full CMS). Then, of course, the subject being very personal to me, I couldn’t help investing much more time and energy into it that I planned to.

Once more, I don’t know where this new version will go and if it will go anywhere, but it’s there and it’s like I wanted it to be, and that’s what count the most to me, really.

For an overview and a listing of the website features, visit the About page (the content of that page may change in the future, as new features will add on).

You may notice that some content is “old news”, but that is because I’ve posted it while the project was in testing phase (not public yet) and I left it there. And of course, there is a big gap in posting between the previous (left-off) version and this one, which may feel weird as for the posting flow.

If you feel like, you can leave a comment on The Wall page, which is there for it.

Have fun!
