Sadly enough, as lots of you have surely noticed, the forum on the official website is currently closed. While the reason for this are officially unknown, there are big chances that the shutting down of the forum service has something to do with the rumors of The Cure leaving Universal.
Anyway, since a lot of funs on that forum have signed up here at Cureuphoria, I suggest you to use the forum here to keep your Cure life going…
Really, the forum doesn’t bite, I promise, and it will be imporved in the future, so it seems to be the perfect time to liven it up a little.
Suggestions are always welcomed and taken into consideration.

According to what I know, the cure.com forum being closed had nothing to do with the boys leaving Universal.

It had to do with a beef between two forum members. The member who was doing the bullying was really always a bully, and wasn’t really doing anything new. But the victim was a kind of new member. She’d been around a few months, but not really long enough to have known the aforementioned bully well. The victim called Geffin to complain about it. Nothing happened. She thought it was because they didn’t understand her broken English so well. But the thing is, the victim is a small time actress. So when the bully started posting photos of her head attached to adult situation photos, she called Geffen back. Because the photos of her were professional, and posted without permission, she stated she had the right to file a lawsuit if the pictures were not taken down. She just wanted Geffen to remove the offensive posts, but they went a step further and just took down everything. I suppose it was really the final straw. Especially after the whole GH thing. I mean, that more than anything killed the forum. After that, it was just waiting to have the plug pulled.

Thank you for the update, TheCupCakeGeisha! It’s a very odd story we got there with the official forum. But at the least we have a reason why it’s down.

Well…that’s at least how I feel. Some might say that it is coincidental that ALL OF THAT happened RIGHT BEFORE the forum went down. (as the story was told to me, the forum was taken down within 24 hours of her making that call.) I mean, I could be wrong, and it could be a sign of the label dropping them…but I mean, that’s ONE HELL OF A COINCIDENCE.
