Have you ever actually thought about listing down – just for the sake of dumb statistics – the band’s studio albums… by decade?
Well, don’t know why, but for some unknown reasons, I just did.
Not that the list has striked me with awe, but I find the result of such an exercise somehow interesting.
I always wondered, since I first listened to The Reson Why, if it is my impression or if there is a very similar background effect, almost identical, than in Play For Today.
I am talking about a little loop sound, like a whiplash (?), which is by the way a little more prominent in Play For Today.
I don’t think I am able to explain it better, but accurate ears should detect the sound I am talking about.
Listen closely… What you think? Did you notice it as well?

After a lot of time and a lot of work, I am glad (and proud) to publish a new version of Cureuphoria.
Originally launched in August 2008, Cureuphoria was developed as a personal blog about The Cure. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to dedicate any of my time to keep it alive and going, but the will to improve it and to keep it up to date never left. I knew it was just a matter of time before I would put my hands on it again and give it the shape I wanted to.
Today Cureuphoria is re-launched as a full website with a lot of features and functionalities and it is wrapped up in an unique desgin.
